For a long time, the hallmark of iPhone smartphones has been the “bump” that appeared on the iPhone X in 2017. But modern times demand new solutions. According to Korean website The Elec, the iPhone 15 Pro will get rid of this already commonplace “bump” in favor of an under-display camera.
This new model will use Samsung displays similar to those of the Galaxy Z Fold, under which engineers will place Face ID and a front camera. The South Korean manufacturer, with the support of OTI Lumionics, will launch a new type of display using a new type of cathode made of organic materials. This will allow the free space between the pixels and the cathodes to be used to accommodate the Face ID sensors. iPhone 15
